Have you ever heard of Lucy? She is the oldest known human ancestor. The more scientific name is australopithecus afarensis. Nearly 3.5 million years old! She was about 3ft tall and walked on two legs, but she also climbed trees. Lucy was found in Ethiopia.
Today, Ethiopia hosts more than 900,000 refugees and asylum-seekers. Displaced people in Ethiopia may face challenges like access to water, education opportunists, and employment opportunities. Thankfully, a program called UNHCR is helping these people out.
